Today, Leader Kate White and Klondike candidate Brent McDonald announced that a Yukon NDP government will build a new childcare centre in Dawson City, increase funding to the Early Learning and Childcare Program and index that funding to inflation – to help existing centres across the Yukon keep up with costs, recruit and retain staff and increase the number of childcare spaces available.
